September, 2019: The Nine of Wands (Plus Bonus Card)

Hello!  Hi. How are you?

I am writing from my happy place at this very moment. And I hope you are in your happy place. Or that you'll be in what you consider a happy place soon.

I know September's Nine of Wands isn't the Sun. But you know what?

It ain't the Five of Cups either.

No, this time our character faces forward in a prepared position. I'm not sure if he's tired.  He may or may not be...

He may just be fulfilled and savoring the moment he's in.

I know some minds may illustrate fulfillment in a different way.

But for other minds, a hard day's work is fulfilling.

This guy's got a nice tall boundary or fence or vineyard or farm behind him. He's got proof of his efforts. Results to back him.

And he appears to be protecting it. Posing with it.

Owning it.

He's come far along with his work. He knows he's almost done with a project. He knows some stuff has about reached capacity...

And he's still standing.

He's listening, watching, keeping to himself, and getting his work done, inadvertently or effortlessly displaying it, and protecting it all as well.

Know what else?

He seems really grateful to be standing there, with the privilege of nearly finishing something he started. With the energy and tools and focus and practice and experience and sense of purpose to continue if he wants to. With the honor of having others notice and share what he's done.

Maybe a project is meant to be unfinished.

Maybe there is no real "finishing it." At least not by a deadline.

He realizes he doesn't have to finish what he's doing right away.

There is time.

And maybe his unfinished, imperfect work leads others to relate to it very much. Because we're all imperfect and unfinished-- and this is evident in some people's belief that we can always improve ourselves.

But maybe we're fine and amazing just the way we are. And we can become more fine and amazing over time.

And maybe... not finishing certain things keeps our efforts interesting.

Or maybe some don't need to become overwhelmed by a need to complete every single task by a certain time.

And maybe our guy is pausing because... there's no need to become stressed.

Some have done more than enough. Are doing more than enough.

And those who are doing more than enough, and putting their all into certain goals--

What an example they're setting.

Wait. Did I say example?

Yes.

Sometimes we can inspire others to make an effort... by making the effort ourselves, and being seen making that effort. Especially in a fulfilled, genuine, and content way.

Dedication is very powerful now. So is consistency in some cases.

If some want others to be something in particular, then the former may need to be that something.

Needless to say, September may not be easy.

We're talking immersion here.

But it doesn't have to be difficult.

Pacing ourselves, patience, and compassion are (will be) very helpful.

And just to make sure you still love me:

HERE.

HERE IS THE KING OF PENTACLES

He's a bonus, beotches.

And a powerful one at that.

Certain work, projects, dedication, honesty, boundaries, and realness may pay off tremendously this month.

The King of Pentacles keeps it real. So real and--

Gah. There's a TON more I can write (I can always write a ton more) but no.

Nope, I'll stop here.

Good luck. Enjoy. And blessings to you and yours! ❤

And if you'd like for me to draw a personal card JUST for you (or as a gift for someone else), I am happy to do so. Just visit my rates page for more info...

Thank you!

Love,
