June 26th, 2019's Stand-Out Draw: The Knight of Wands

Here is the energetic, valiant, determined, spontaneous, spirited, adventurous, active, and... possibly impatient, abrupt, invasive, impulsive, filter-less, feisty, demanding, and/or hasty Knight of Wands draw.

Knight of Wands is direct and straightforward but, unlike the Knave of Wands, the Knight can be cocky and aggressive, forceful, and/or excessive— and this can be to his detriment.  Because some others around him may react to all this energy.

Retaliation or retribution are possible outcomes.

Knight of Wands may ’flaunt it’. He may be purposeful and may have something worth fighting for.

Or he simply has a very big stake somewhere. And this may be why he takes very big risks.

He may also be urgent. This card could be about demand... or a fierce wave of something like a fever or allergic reaction or inflammation or an injury, blazing hot temperatures, a temper tantrum, outbursts, arguments, threats...

Um, “listen all y’all,” cause this may be “a sabotage.”

Yes, the Knight of Wands may represent an instigator.

This high energy card makes me think of Number Five, the robot from the movie “Short Circuit” when he says, “NUMBER FIVE ALIVE.” 🤖 There is definitely life here, and a big willingness to live it. To go big or go home.

But it also makes me think of big displays, gestures, arrivals, entrances, exits, panic, complaints, rush orders, expedited shipping.

Wands tend to mean warmth, heat, sparks, fire, fireworks, fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius), love, heart, warm colors (reds, oranges, yellows), willpower, action, and bursts of motivation or passion among other stuff.

When a wand is dressed as a knight on a horse and charging though, either some...may be charging/rushing ahead, attacking (or “attacking”) or...

Or they’ve a not-flawless but still decent protective system in place.

Knight of Wands is kind of prepared for battle. He’s prepared... and equipped but...his success is never a guarantee.

What does this battle entail or call for?

Whom is Knight of Wands wanting to battle?

I dunno. But it may be important for Knight of Wands to think. To choose his battles carefully/wisely. To recognize boundaries. To try to not be a loose cannon this summer.

Battles take up a lot of energy. Sometimes even a lot of money, way more money than some intend to spend.

And some battles may hurt in a number of ways.

And Knight of Wands can be insistent on being right and/or winning.

But battles can become extra heated and pretty gross now and over the summer. Arguments or disagreements, for instance, may escalate.

Not that some need to engage in this stuff.

Some can choose not to take the bait and just live their best lives... and create great summer memories.

And these memories needn’t be expensive.

Worth exploring: Is there is actually a battle to prepare for? Or is the Knight looking for a fight (because drama)?

Knight of Wands can overreact. At worst, this card can be about an antagonist, an instigator, a bully, a predator, an emergency.

At best, it is about confidence, a strong beginning, or *finally* following through on something/allowing our actions to speak clearly for us.

Ultimately, actions matter most.

Help may be needed suddenly, at the last minute. The Knight of Wands may represent rescue efforts and workers, soldiers, officers...

Speed may be the name of the game here for some, too.

But there’s no need to rush certain things.

Plus, totally preventable mistakes can occur when we rush sometimes.

Mistakes aren’t a new thing. We’re human. We all make mistakes. All the time.

All good. ❤️

But a full-speed-ahead approach can exacerbate certain matters.

It may become important to decide between quality or instantaneous results... now and as things progress.

Also, I get that Knight of Wands can usher a beginning since he’s sort of at the starting line of the Wands suit but...

Might he be overdoing things, be overdressed?

Why the armor?

To me, the armor may have to do with the effects of past events. The Knight of Wands wears the armor but... is it needed?

Knight of Wands also displays his stick, his weapon. Which may be symbolic for a tool at his disposal or his sense of authority over others. He has it at the ready.

Is this necessary?

The armor and weapon make up a shell.
Interestingly, crabs have shells. Crabs represent Cancer season, the astrological season we’re in (and will be in until July 22nd). These shells are little homes for crabs. And they may be used for protection.

I don’t see anyone battling (or attempting to battle) the Knight of Wands in this card. But I do see him... maybe placing himself in a compromising situation.

Oy.

Ouch.

Otherwise...

Otherwise quite a bit can be accomplished through the Knight of Wands. He keeps busy and has energy to burn, and this energy should last awhile...

Enjoy. Have fun. Be safe. 🙂❤️🔥

Love,

Deb
